Anti-bullying assembly at Adam’s Elementary

On February 27, Natalie and the resit of the Race to End Bullying team held two assemblies for ages K-3 and 4-6 grade kids at Adams Elementary in Layton, UT. Natalie engaged with the kids to help them understand the importance of being kind, standing up for others, and talking about their feelings with a trusted adult. She challenged and encouraged them to give at least one compliment to another student every day and understand that we never know what someone else is going through. Natalie made sure that the kids understood the difference in conflict and bullying and how to handle each. We can’t wait to see Adam’s Elementary again next spring.
